Santoku Knife


Originating in Japan, the Santoku blade is lighter, shorter, and thinner than most Western or German style Chef's blades.  The Santoku design is good for slicing, dicing, and mincing.  With limited curvature on the cutting edge it is intended to be used with a chopping motion rather than a rocking motion.  The Santoku blade is great for vegetables.  This knife is amazing.  It will likely become your favorite knife the first time you use it.
